The Medders brothers and myself tracked this album live back in November and December of 2010. We rehearsed the songs maybe 3 times, and then went at it. Our original intent was to record in an old country church in Franklin, TN - but once we got to rehearsing in the studio, we captured something that couldn't be moved or messed with. So despite it's 'studio' birth, it's still all raw and live. I love Carson, Will and Cheyenne like brothers - and without them, I wouldn't be half the musician I am today. This was a labor of love and good times.
**All physical copies of this record were designed by Benjamin Carlson and hand printed by Ben and I at the Jackson Hole Art Association. Special thanks to Benjamin, Evan Huggins, and Greg Tsaris for being my family through the tedious printing process.
Love and thanks to Benny Bills for being my support.
Recorded live November-December 2010 at the Court in Nashville, TN with The Medders.
